  • I forgot to post my devlog last week and yesterday, so please forgive the small backlog. Yesterday I was able to get all of the character assets into the game and hopefully the files are small enough that we won’t have any storage issues in the future.
  • Here’s what I got up to today:
    • Updated the GUI with custom colors
    • I added the main menu and game menu backgrounds – this makes such a huge difference and is really exciting to see!
    • I updated the default text speed for the game. I like it when the text scrolls out as you read, but of course you can just click again to show the whole dialogue at once.
  • Remaining Beta build actions:
    • Adjust character assets for size and placement
    • Change intro text to sidebar with map illustration
    • Update default font
